Speaking in front of a crowd to answer a question can be an anxiety-inducing endeavor; yet, we frequently ask our students to do so during lessons and team building activities. To change up this pattern, we are focusing on partner activities this week: activities where participants can break off into pairs or trios to solve problems, process answers, and build relations with their peers.
We share out five of our favorites below, and for even more activities, search for “Static Pairs” or “Mingling Pairs” in Attributes in the Filter on the Kikori app.
Partnering students in an activity has many benefits. The small-group setting helps students become more sociable with a partner, speak more comfortably, and form lasting connections with their peers. Not only are partner activities fun, but they are also a great processing tool for your students!
