Peace Pals International

Updated: Nov 16, 2022

Peace Pals International invites youth ages 5-16 to submit artwork to an international awards program in the spirit of the message of peace, May Peace Prevail On Earth. The message of peace began over 70 years ago when a small gathering of peace workers joined Masahisa Goi in Ishikawa, Japan to envision how peace could become a reality. In 1976, the idea of placing the Peace Message on poles emerged from that vision, and the Peace Pole Project began. Today, over 200,000 Peace Poles have been built around the world, and the World Peace Prayer and Flag Ceremonies have been presented at every major city in the world.
